I seldom travel outstation. This was probably one of the rare occasion where I traveled outstation for a one day trip with friends. Others travel outstation for food, beaches, jungles, caves, etc. Wan Chi and I traveled outstation to visit a historical building. Not many people that I know would travel so far just to visit an old building. My siblings certainly wouldn't do so. We decided to visit Kellie's Castle as we were of the view that it is an interesting place for us to try out new photography theme. It is such a big place. It has so many rooms. The brick walls and pillars are probably one of the unique feature of this building. The view from the rooftop is definitely amazing. It is so wide and spacious that the owners wanted to build a tennis court there.
How I wish there are more buildings or historical sites like this in Malaysia.
It was my first time witnessing with my own eyes how a girl actually put on heavy make up. The before and after effect was just mind blowing. I was told that heavy make up is needed so that the effect of make up can be seen in the photos. If light make up is used, it will appear as if no make up was used.
The photo below is one of our favourite photo. It appears as if she is looking out from a high place.
Unfortunately, we lost many photo when the
memory card got corrupted. Some are so priceless that I mightnot be able to
capture that exact moment again even if I am given the opportunity to do so. I
will definitely visit
Kellie's Castle again. It was my first time there. It definitely shall not be
my last. I will be back !
